Work. - Is this the meaning of life ?
You get up in the
morning, make breakfast, drive to work.
Spend a lot of hours and energy at work.
Drive home, make dinner - and you are
finished. Go to the sofa, and watch TV. -
Is this the meaning of life ?
5 days a week - 2
to spare. - Oh, and in those 2 days, you
have to do your shopping, wash your
clothes, do your housecleaning, be social
and entertain friends and family. Is that
the meaning of life ?
One day - when
hopefully I'll be knocking on that big
door up above - and the door opens, and
they ask me what I have done with my life
? right now, I can say; I got up in the
moning and drove to work. Got back in the
evening, and went to bed. Wonder if that
qualifies to get in ?
Hey - I'm rooting
for robots. Robots to do your cleaning,
Robots that takes care of your household
shopping groceries, etc., ...
If I just had the
time to invent those robots, or something
similar, make a zillion - Then I could do
all the things that I do not have time
for now. Plan my own day and chores,
spend more time with the family and
friends, travel more, ... - Now, isn't
that the meaning of life ?
