From planning to
action !
From words to action - Action speaks
louder than words !
In todays world
we are spending a lot of time planning -
instead of having focus on acting.
We also have
leaders that utters many fine words, but
most of them are never realized.
So we need much
more focus on action rather than just
doing the planning and talking the words.
Some people
think, that if they just plan enough - go
into more and more detail, and the plans
will tell the future. - But it is my
experience, that plans doesn't work. -
Life is much too complicated, and most
plans are thrown just the next day,
because reality simply went another way -
new tasks comes in, and plans has to be
reevaluated and adjusted - What happend
to action - did we have time to act, when
we were busy making plans...
I'm not saying,
that we then shouldn't try to get some
kind of order of of the chaos that we
live in - but rather I'm saying, that
planning can only go so far - in broad
terms, were would we like to go - and
then: action.
The same goes for
all the fine word that are said from
management - great - but now we need to
see you act - and fullfill all those nice
words, strategies, visions, dreams, so:
action - because action speaks louder
than words.
And in my own
life, I'm getting there - Less planning,
Less fantasies that I wish I would
outlive - For me it's more action !
Don't just talk
the talk - walk the walk instead.
